"Overall pretty good but the bed could do with being changed whilst it appeared to be okay initially but we found it was dipping in the middle we were both feeling that whilst the sides appeared to be okay if you turned over onto your left side you were dipping down into the middle. Not sure if it is the mattress or the bed itself."

"Room was excellent, comfortable and well equipped, the coffee and press were a nice surprise. Had dinner at the pub which was quick, fresh and tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Took a stroll to the castle which was nice too. Would recommend"

"We were a group of three families (plus a dog) and the house and gardens were phenomenal. The kitchen and the secret garden were our main areas for convening. All facilities were great, and as an avid cook, the kitchen set up and equipment was top notch. "

"Excellent property. Very clean. Spacious designated parking space. Great location opposite Castle Inn and a couple of minutes from Stockeld Park. Games cupboard was a winner."

"This place was in the perfect location, our big family (2 adults 6 kids) all had a comfortable bed to sleep in, and the host was amazing. We had a mishap that has never happened before, one of our kids broke some pretty valuable furniture and the host was so gracious and we worked something out. The pictures are spot-on. "

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Not a place to stay if you don't drive as public transport lacks availability. On a busy dual carriageway, bus stop a mile away on return journey. A long walk but doable especially in the summer months"
