Food was not so tasty, same stuff every day, not enough fruit and always short on some stuff Drinks and very cheap and weak and not enough stuff to serve the guests, always lines everyone, one big buffet to serve this amount of guests it’s really bad. Rooms are clean but smelled like mildew every day last 3 days of our stay was really bad because the whole resort smelled like poop and we had turn of our AC , the smells was coming through the vents and it smelled like something died, I would not be coming for sure We where allowed 3 dinner s but no reservation are available to some good restaurants on the resort We couldn’t swim at the beach because it’s all covered with seaweed No one was allowed to swim plus you would not want to because the beach area is small, water is dirty and full of black seaweed Not enough entertainment either Little boring Casino so small also Overall only rooms are nice and the landscaping was nice

Do not go here! Other than our room being clean it was terrible. For an all inclusive resort this place was far below my expectations. Food and drinks are not available at times, and if you need to eat you are left paying an arm and leg for chips. Also a scam - while I was in the all inclusive buffet for lunch, a hostess came to me and said she was charging my room for my plate of food. I put my plate down and said no you aren’t I don’t want it anymore and my son and I skipped the meal. That said, the check in staff were wonderful. But I did not receive any type of compensation for the terrible experiences and services. Waste of money.

The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for a family of 5. Wish the property had hot tubs, room service and accessibility to all the restaurants. The beach, well... the only beach to go into the water due to the seaweed was 15 minute walk to the other resort. It was ok. The resort itself was beautiful with friendly staff.

Not the worst resort or the best resort. Felt like everything was an upgrade charge, especially for premium alcoholic beverages. Beverage promotions that we asked for over multiple days were not actually avaliable., For an All-Inclusive it felt it was only 80% All-Inclusive. Extra costs throughout for everything, food, booze, activities. No communication for any entertainment in nightlife, were forced to use an location specific travel cellphone App. The App was used for everything including asking for more toilet paper. Unless we have children traveling with us. We will always choose somewhere else.

Overall nice trip with welcome upgrade. We enjoyed the amenities, entertainment staff friendly and hard working. Fun 5 day break! Not 5 star or perfect, but if you have youngsters, the beaches and pools are great and plenty of food choices.Loved the wildlife and sunrise beach walks and trolley service between resorts.

1. Other than the front desk, the bar tenders, servers , waiters , kitchen staff will not speak in English. 2. Buffet food is not worth the money. Verfy few varieties, no vegetarian options, 3. always a guessing game in reading the food contents label. 4. Inadequate staff in the Buffett area 5. Waiting for buggy all the time 6. Would not recommend to families especially families with younger children 7. Alcate restaurants are always full, it's difficult to find a reservation in a restaurant of our choice 8. The beach had seaweed , so no access to beach all the time. The seaweed will remain there for the entire summer 9. Airport transfer should be included in the pricing, it was a surprise for us to know that we had to pay for the airport transfer 10. The cheffs in the live counter in the buffet area won't speak in English purposely making it easy for avoid for them to take our food request 11. Expedia should stop recommending such resorts and should not really be in this business.

My 2nd time at particular resort. I have a feeling that resort is little bit in ‘saving mode’. Felt like food was better previous time, and booze was higher end, less alacarte options included (only 3 vs 6)😎 No birthday gifts of recognition from hotel this time. Overall still great pace to go. Staff was awesome, very clean resort, spotless comparing to other places I have seen. I walked in several neighborhood hotels as well, and should say that Bahía Príncipe Tulum was still the right choice.

The staff was amazing - cleaning, restocking the mini bar, wait staff, activities people, transport drivers - courteous, eager to please. We took a tour and a mini Spanish lesson with Ximena. She was knowledgeable, charming and went at our pace. AND the food! Wow. Tons of choice, all excellent. I liked how they had the pools divided according to who was using them - kids, party people, quieter people. Smart. Many loungers available everywhere, esp the beach. Loved having the market on site, bicycle tours on site. Loved the transport system. The only drawback was the ocean. The sargassum is piled up on the beach and stinks. We found an article that said it absorbs heavy metals. We felt congested when we were near it. It's in the water, too. We were there in March and the water was rough (red flags the whole week) and knocked you around and off your feet. The waves and the sargassum made it difficult to navigate the coral bottom which was hazardous even with water shoes. Guest services staff should continue to learn English and the computer systems eg booking meals at each of associate resorts

Very large property with multiple resorts. Good on property transportation with cart trains running regularly. Amazing, friendly staff. Clean and well maintained grounds. Pools seemed clean and well maintained. Buffet not great with mislabeled dishes and repetitive choices. Often out of stock. Limited gluten free options for celiac daughter. Buffet closed from 3:30-6 with very limited options at other snack bar locations, also often out of stock.
