"This property has ALMOST everything. Pros- Amazing location within short walking distance to anything that you could hope to see or anywhere you care to eat in Old San Juan. Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds, quality pillows and sheets, large showers with nice water. pressure, and in-room Nespresso machines. Amazing architecture with see-through floors in common areas with a view from the ground floor all the way to the roof top restaurant. Roof top deck with views of the city Cons - Some rooms do not have window. If you are claustrophobic, make sure to call the hotel and let them know that you need a real window. Slow and small elevators. They’re real creepers and only large enough for two people if you have luggage. Luckily, there are two of them. A wee bit pricey, but you’re getting what you pay for. Overall thoughts: while we would probably try to find less expensive rooms if we could, we wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Alma."

"Zero hot water and completely underestimated how loud the street would be. If you want to party in old San Juan until 3am this is a great place to stay. However if you are a family of 5 this is probably not the right spot. "

"Pros: right downtown. Great water pressure in the shower. Hot water. Not expensive. Good a/c. You get what you pay for. Cons: The bathroom is VERY small, so if you are tall you will need to sit sideways to use the toilet. Can get loud at night because right un downtown Old San Juan, but they do provide ear plugs."

"Great staff. Especially Elliott goes above and beyond with great helpful attitude. Would be nice to have easy access to tea kettle and microwave in lobby. Pool was disappointing. Use to be great. Now just the coin fountain in lobby. Nice stay. Great location. Unique. "
