"The hotel staff are exceptional, they make you feel welcome. I had a lovely chat with a cleaner as she helped me navigate the corridors to my room, she really went above and beyond. All the staff seemed happy to be working at the hotel. The upgraded room was very spacious and had stunning views from the window."

"Business/CPD trip. Everything i needed was on the premises. Staff on friday night were very busy, but always attend to your needs. Cottage was squeaky clean. Thank you sooo much! "We had a wonderful 3 night break at The Long Barn in February. The building has been renovated to an exceptional standard, whilst retaining all its original features. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you might need to cook. The lounge area had sumptuous sofas, the bedrooms all with en-suites were extremely comfortable and had great views of the surrounding gardens. We loved the games room especially with a pool table, table tennis table, table football and another TV and more sumptuous sofas! The Barn is approximately 20 minutes drive from Oxford and The Clifden Arms pub is a 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk away with gorgeous food for lunches and dinner. The owners were very communicative and friendly, and happy to help with any requests. We were sad to leave and hope to return in the summer. Thank you Steve and Jane."
