"Hotel is well maintained and in a central walkable part of Seoul. Train station entrance is a block away so it’s easy to get anywhere fast. Train system is super easy to use. As far as the hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful, and always available. Breakfast buffet was convenient, and we used the laundry facilities once. Did not go to restaurant or bar. The only negative I would say about the room was that it’s on the small side and could use a few more drawers for storage. All in all we enjoyed the stay there though and will again if we are to ever return."

"The room was not cleaned during our 4-night stay, except on the last day, when we removed the sign from our bed. We thought the sign meant we didn't need to change the bed linen daily, but we didn't expect it also meant our bed wouldn't be tidied. It was convenient to have the coin-operated laundry facilities in the hotel's basement. The buffet breakfast was pretty meh. Glad we decided not to include it in our booking and only went there on our last morning there. The food choices are standard. And the staff will make sure you leave the breakfast hall at 10 am on the dot, as that is when they say they will close. Closing time = no more guests in the dining area, not just the kitchen's. So you need to make sure to time it well before you go. The staff were kind enough to let us extend our stay for 30 minutes when we asked in the morning. We will be charged 11,000 KRW if we want to stay for an extra hour. Pretty strict."

"We stayed at Hotel the Botanik twice totally 10 days with our 2 kids. We would definitely stay here again. Pros: very clean, enough space in the room with kitchenette, centrally located, nice view from roof. Cons: main bedroom has a glass wall and second bedroom has no door meaning it's hard not to disturb others who are sleeping. Games room was very expensive and not included. Staff will tell you there is nowhere to get coffee in the morning except Emart but you can get coffee at Paris Baguette in the Subway very nearby at 7am."

"Excellent stay. Fresh and varied breakfast with several destinos for noodles, eggs, carved ham. Great variety of salads, healthy options, l fresh fruit and cereals. The staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms are modern, minimalistic and super comfy. Recommend "
