"Great overall location to tour Madeira, especially being outside Funchal easier for car navigation. Nice property, great views of bay, 1st floor does have many tourist pass by in daytime. Great breakfast with views wonderful. Nice staff. Laundry service a plus. Parking situation/must use public lots is only negative as well as some homeless in the area...and hustle all when parking. Just give then a euro for their assistance finding you a spot. Would still stay here again!:"

"We have had the best five day stay at the hotel. The reception staff are simply amazing they even gave us a welcome drink upon arrival, told us everything we needed to know about the hotel and surrounding area. They have been so helpful, informative and generous, nothing was too much trouble. Sofia in particular helping us with our car hire needs.
