Tritoni Valletta Boutique Hotel

"Location was great, a short walk to the centre but with restaurants close by. Room was very clean, as were the communal areas. Breakfast was decent for the money, although the coffee produced by the machine was pretty dire. Lovely views over the city as well as sunset vistas. We had some issues, such as getting stuck in the lift, and the shower head breaking; the later of which was fixed very quickly. The bathroom was large and nicely decorated, however there were issues at a granular level. These including a towel rail that was poorly fixed to the wall, a rusting bin, plus one door had the vinyl peeling off due to bathroom moisture and scrapping against the floor, and the front door rubbing against the floor due to poor fitting. All the staff were very helpful and friendly."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Central Town house, the staff were very friendly and the location was very useful for catching buses to all the places we wanted to go. The room we had contained a washing machine and dishwasher and as we were there for two weeks and a Lidl supermarket was a short ride away from the San Luca bus stop, we decided to cook our own food, including a roast dinner in the spanking new oven. Having said that nathan’s cooked breakfasts which were included in the room price and served until 11am, kept us full all day. We also had a nice balcony that overlooked some gardens and we could see birds and some pipestrelle bats at dusk whilst having our gin and tonics. The owner and his wife were extremely helpful and friendly advising us where to go and how to get there, particularly as it was Victory Day 8 th September and Fort Angelo was the best location to see the celebrations and Regatta. In addition, the owner was very helpful by telling us about the Tallinnj travel cards that gave you unlimited travel on the buses and you could top them up to use them for a Harbour cruise from Sliema around the creeks. The room we stayed in also had a big TV which was good for when the weather was not too good ( one to two days) and reception assistant and waitress called Rupi also gave us good advice about where to get the buses to Mdina, Rabat and the megalithic temples on the island. The security was very high with a code needed to get through the front door."

"Fab food including the excellent breakfast buffet - lovely to be taken to our table rather than scrambling for a table, excellent quality breakfast, friendly staff, delicious meal one night in the Admiral’s Landing. The hotel is a little old-fashioned and the dark wood furniture v comfortable if a little tired - with a random selection of wall art but the rooms and bathrooms are huge and there are enough plugs etc, though no USB points as to be expected. Pool good with plenty of sun loungers, a beach and sea swimming too. We had booked Tiki restaurant but a huge rain storm meant it had to be closed but we had the delicious meal at Admiral’s Landing instead."

"The hotel was funky but not too much. Absolutely fantastic restaurant and bar on the top floor where we had drinks and dinner. The staff was impeccable and nothing was ever too much trouble. We had particularly superb service from Lucia in the restaurant who helped us and our parents so much. Very generous. We also say a big thanks to Alexandre (we hope we spelled that right). He was also showed us boundless attention. Generally though the staff were friendly, engaging and really finished off a superb experience. Finally amazing restaurant and breakfast! Thanks"

"Breakfast was very poor, and I could not access the rooftop pool as there was no bar to hold on to and I have a knee issue. With that being said I could not fault the rest of the hotel and our room hit a hit tub on the balcony which was amazing."
