"This truly was a hidden gem! We prefer quiet and peaceful when we travel. We loved the location. The cabin is surrounded by trees. We all loved sitting on the porch and listening to nature and seeing the occasional deer come through. The lake is beautiful and just a short walk to get to. The cabin was so cozy and very clean. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Loved the openness of the floor plan. Kitchen is large and has everything you could need to cook all your meals. I’ve never seen so many pots, pans, dishes, bowls in a rental property before. That was definitely a bonus. Large kitchen table sat all 8 adults easily for all our meals. Loved the back deck and all the comfortable furniture. The view of the dock was perfect from the deck. Loved the covered area on the second level of the dock. Loved that this unit allowed for 2 dogs. We’ve never been to Smith Lake this late in the season before and we were quite shocked at how low the water was. What we thought was a short drop off from the bank to the water was quite cliffy in fact and proved a little scary for the dogs as there is not much grass area. My only recommendation would be to add mirrors to the bedrooms since there are only 2 bathrooms and it sleeps 10. And, maybe the addition of a fire pit. Added bonus…the marina delivered the pontoon and jet skis we rented to our dock!"

"Lakeview is a great place to get away and relax. The hosts are wonderful and the house is perfect; especially if you have multiple families or couples. The amenities were great just as advertised, and this was just what our annual lake trip with friends needed."

"Great property for bringing your dogs to the lake. Good separation from neighbors and large yard for dogs to run in. Plenty of space for all your friends with multiple seating areas inside and out. Located on a no wake zone part of the lake so very safe to just swim right off the dock."

"We have been and stayed at properties at Smith lake for the last 10 years during this time frame.Decked Out was simply the best. So accurate to pictures, clean, and the host was so helpful with probably what she thought was crazy questions.We hope to book here next year…Thanks Decked Out for wonderful memories."

"We traveled with elderly parents, grown children and grandchildren and pets. The set up of the house was perfect! The lake was so nice and enjoyable. Had lots of fun on paddle boat and kayaks during the day. The pool was refreshing and enjoyed it in the afternoon and evening while grilling. Definitely would book and stay again!"
