"Beautiful historic building, very clean and comfortable. The Presidential Suite is perfect for a family (4 adults, 3-4 kids). Big kitchen and dining area. The front rooms can get noisy at night so just bring a travel white noise machine if you're sound sensitive. Easy morning walk to Alma Cafe for breakfast and Cristobal Castle. Longer walk to market, San Juan gate, museums and the big fort. Only minor complaint was they don't actually provide a late checkout option, which we didn't know until that morning. Front desk should have told us this at check-in, because the email says the option exists for an extra fee. "

"We really enjoyed our stay, we thought the staff was excellent! I did have to carry 90 pounds worth of luggage up four sets of stairs and it was quite a workout. I would just recommend to be aware that the hotel does not have an elevator system and you will have to carry luggage upstairs."

"The room was clean and the air-conditioning was perfect. I slept very well. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and filling with fresh fruit. We definitely plan to return. "

"The staff were very friendly and property well-maintained. The rooms were a bit outdated in the Bietsch tower, and the bed was not comfortable. But overall, I would return."

"My stay has been horrible. The room is filthy to include feces staining on the sheets, linen was never changed, floor is dirty, mirrors are dirty, clumps of hair in shower dish, and the worst of it all is that you have an air conditioner leaking down a wall causing a puddle to form that travels the whole room that has to be mopped up with a towel. Also, as I write this at 4am I needed to move the bed over as the air conditioner was dripping in my face. Unless I get a full refund, I’ll never recommend this location ever. "
