"Very clean. Spacious room. Nice sitting area, rental chairs, and decent pool. Friendly staff. A washer and dryer for guests with washing pods - all free. Only downside is no ironing board or iron. But how often are you going to need those at the beach? Highly recommend this place."

"The accommodations were wonderful and Carla is a fantastic host!! Had everything we could have needed for our weeklong stay. Lots of restaurants within walking distance or just a very short drive away if needed. The beach access could not have been easier and it was amazing to just head across the street with our morning coffee and take a walk each day. She has a brand new propane grill that we used for the first time that works great!! Will definitely consider Anchors Aweigh again for another future trip. "

"Excellent stay. Room was clean and spacious. Check in was seamless. Very short walk to the beach. Great views from the windows. Only negative is the walls are pretty thin. It wasn’t much of an issue for me because there were only a few people there, probably due to the weather. However, I could hear the neighbors conversations and TV pretty clearly the first night. And they weren’t being “loud.” Just think walls. But overall it was a great stay. Would stay again."

"We enjoyed our stay here! The house was extremely clean and well decorated - just like the pictures! There is an “old-house smell” when you first walk in, but it did not bother us too much. We loved being able to walk to the beach and to breakfast! Not to mention, we loved being able to have our dog with us! Overall, we would recommend staying here!"
