"Everyone was very nice and helpful from the front desk to the restaurant room maids health and spa center just one little remark was that children are allowed in the warm pool spa area and it got noisy in the evenings. In my opinion theirs should be a time limit soo customers can go and relax in the evenings on the positive beautiful coastal trails that lead you to the next village peaceful and break taking sunsets and sunrises "

"Excellent service in all areas. Very supportive, welcoming, friendly, helpful front desk staff and staff in the welcoming door area. They are very quick and efficient with their job as well. Creates an amazing atmosphere for guest to want to return to Azores. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices and the staff members serving go out of their way to make your breakfast experience amazing to start a beautiful day. Room is very clean and nicely well done when you return at the end of the day. We used bar service only once for quick bite food and the service was amazing here as well. Food was great too. We would definitely recommend this hotel. 100/100 excellent beautiful welcoming place to stay at. "

"We didn't enjoy the stay too mich. It was not like on the fotos or description. It smells of mold and the light situation isn't ideal, either super cold light or too dark. One window didn't ooen at all with shutters, a noisy building site next door, a ciocroach in the room, the wrong wifi code in the welcome book, no kitchen towel. .. "

"If you are looking for a break away from it all to enjoy the views you will not go wrong here. Shops are a short drive a way to replenish the fridge. Not keen on driving at night so were back well before dark to enjoy the views and sample the local wine. "

"We stayed 5 nights - house is in a great location- we were able to explore the whole island! Was great to have the swimming pool to come back to after a day of hiking. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook a good meal. Overall the whole house was very comfortable and a pleasure to stay in."

"We had a restful stay in Victor's guest house! It was private and safe with all the essentials. The location was perfect for exploring the entire island. Fresh linens were provided. The patio is perfect for coffee or an evening beverage. Victor warmly welcomed us upon arrival and was available if needed. "

"We read many reviews before arriving and came with an open mind. Some common issues mentioned by previous guests were present but mostly minor from our perspective. Communication with Raul wasn’t great at first but improved during our stay.The home is in a great location and felt very safe. The gated yard and driveway were a plus. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and outdoor grill—my son even grilled black pig one night. Each room had A/C, though one bedroom’s unit was broken. Raul couldn’t repair it during our stay, but we used a fan from the kitchen which helped.The island is humid, and we did see several cockroaches, both alive and dead. Raul said he disinfects, but roach traps might help. We also had issues with the dryer, which he replaced with a working used one.The second floor has no bathroom, but this wasn’t a problem for us as our grandkids stayed up there. Adults may find it less convenient. The primary bedroom has a jacuzzi tub, but you can’t stand in it due to the jets. There’s also a full bathroom outside.Raul kindly left fruit, water, and muffins as a welcome gift. He also asked us to pay a new tax; VRBO advised against it, but we paid it to be fair.Overall, it’s a nice home with great amenities. We enjoyed our stay despite a few minor issues."
