"The rooms were quaint and a little small, but the double queen ocean front on the third floor was adequate. The balconies were small and have solid walls on the left and right side and so therefore the morning sun brings in at a very, very hot arrival and there’s no breeze to help push the heat out of that little square block you’re in so it’s pretty much unbearable to watch the sun rise after it actually gets a little bit above the ocean the maid service was hit and miss couple days we found them just slipping the card under the door asking us if we wanted our room made up well of course we did and we were gone all day one day and got in at 3:30 and I saw the maid in the hallway and she said that they got off at four and that she would catch us tomorrow and threw me a couple extra towels that was unacceptable but we managed to get made service the rest of the week after I complain to the front desk. The breakfast was absolutely great. The free breakfast. The eggs are sausage. We’re good. Don’t get there right at 7 o’clock but everything’s not real hot yet. Best time to go around 7:45 or 8 o’clock that’s about it."

"Overall great experience. This is our second time staying in this condo. Family of four just the right size. Location is always something we look for the beach is right there. You can sit on the balcony and watch the waves, or the sunrise, just steps to the sand PERFECT. The owners are another reason we rented again, I reached out to them before arriving with local questions they were happy to help. I had a concern once there and they were right on it to fix it. Great experience, will rent again."

"We had a wonderful stay! The rental was exactly as described, and everything was clean when we arrived. The location is outstanding—just steps from the beach. This was the closest we’ve ever stayed to the ocean, and it made the experience even more enjoyable.One of our favorite features was the large deck. We spent a lot of time relaxing there, enjoying the ocean breeze and the views. Overall, this was a great place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, pet friendly, comfortable rental in an excellent beachside location."

"You can't beat this location. Right on the beach, great parking, nice pool (especially the children's). The host was incredibly responsive and the people in the office very friendly and helpful. The primary bedroom was very comfortable. Shower pressure was good. Loved the screened porch where we could leave all of our beach stuff every night. The back deck overlooked the beach and became a favorite spot. The unit could use some maintenance and the second bedroom's bed was the smallest queen that I have come across. Plus the AC never seemed to reach that room so that the couple sleeping in that room had a tough time at night. Using the box fan helped. I was surprised that the essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags were not provided other than what the host called "starters". Two rolls of toilet paper for six people did not last long and we would have brought these supplies had we known. Bring your own soap and shampoo too. The add on fees were quite high as well."

"I just wanted to reach out and send a sincere thank you for hosting us at your nicely remodeled home in Kill Devil Hills. We had an absolutely wonderful time!Your home was beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Only a 3-5 minute walk to the beach, and very close to stores. Great covered Front porch area and large deck. Thank you for being such a responsive and welcoming host. We definitely will stay here again. Rick n Pegi"
