"This cabin was well stocked with everything anyone would ever need. Out of all the VRBO properties we have stayed at, this one was the best. It was close to shopping and restaurants. "Taking into consideration that the town is still pretty quiet and much is still not open due to Hurricane Helene, we had a pleasant stay. It was our anniversary weekend and I thought I had booked a room with a hot tub, but had not. The place was empty so I asked for an upgrade to the hot tub room, the website said there was availability and of course I was happy to pay any fees. The management said the room was booked for the weekend. I never saw any other cars come onto the property and the only one that did stayed 2 doors down from us in a room similar to ours. It’s a place to sleep. Nothing more or less. No in room coffee, microwave, or even a hair dryer. Pretty but very basic "

"My family and i had such an awesome stay at The Overlook Cabin in Lake Lure. The cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous and cozy. Amazing views from the deck. Very clean! It offered a wide variety of entertainment in the game room. The kitchen was well equipped. Definitely recommend The Overlook and plan to visit again in the future. "
