"Beautiful house and country landscape. The hosts were accommodating and responsive. The one helpful hint would be that the road is dirt with many pit holes and slight wash outs from storms so don’t take your low to the ground car on the road"
"Fantastic little inn set in the scenic Green Mountains. Check in and out was super easy with text/digital communication. The common areas of the in are beautiful and accommodating with plenty of seating areas inside an out to enjoy the seasonal setting. I will absolutely be staying again! "
"This place hit all the boxes for our annual family trip. For context, that included 7 adults and 5 kids. The place: Plenty of space on the main floor for everyone to get together. 3 large bedrooms upstairs, and 2 on the basement level - one has bunk beds. There’s also an in-law style studio apartment above the garage, so 1 of the couples had a nice from the kids. Plenty of cooking items, plates, cups…and I appreciate the full spice rack, coffee, and other things that are annoying to run out to grab (foil, ziplock bags, cooking oil, etc.). The hot tub was clean and easy to use. There are plenty of separate towels so that you don’t need to use shower towels. The views are amazing!!! Full view of Mt. Ellen and partial of Sugarbush. Facing West, so sunsets were on full display. The Area:Waitsfield was perfect for what we needed. We were there in August, so we hiked, jumped off cliffs into very cold water, went on some hilly runs, played mini golf at a surprisingly awesome place, and the adults were able to have a great night out (Lawson’s brewery, then Madbush for cocktails, and finally Afterthoughts for a great 90’s DJ). We went in summer, but I can clearly see the appeal of this area during ski season. The management team was very responsive to anything I would put as a negative, so it isn’t worth mentioning. If “quaint” and “outdoors” are your keywords, this is a great place to stay. "
"If I could give more than 5 stars for this property, I would. It was absolutely GREAT! We rented it to attend our daughter's wedding in Moretown and our extended family stayed with us there. We were so happy to find such a nice place that would allow us to bring our dog too! The entire week rained except for our last full day, but the house was so spacious with enough room for everyone to have their own space. The fireplaced living room, bar area and TV lounge area on the main floor as well as the game room on the bottom floor allowed everyone to relax in their own way. We fully enjoyed all the wonderful amenities (especially the huge kitchen which was so well-stocked with cookware, dinnerware & high-end appliances, the hot tub on the deck, the TV, the ping pong table & the original Pac Man video arcade game)! The entryway with its many hooks to hang coats and cubbies for bags, shoes, etc. was awesome. The huge walk-in closet on the top floor adjacent to the master bedroom was so appreciated. Once the clouds lifted, the view of the ski trails on the mountains was breath taking! The property managers, Josh and Colin, made sure that our stay was all that we hoped for and couldn't have been nicer. We all felt that this rental was an unbelievable value. We'd like to thank the owners for opening up their home and allowing us to add to the wonderful memories of our week in Vermont at our daughter's wedding. "
"I liked the calm of the environment. Very peaceful. Staff was both friendly and helpful. The property was cute and cozy. Warm decorations. Amazing back yard view/sitting area.
-The ONLY thing I didn’t like was needing to leave Our room to have to use a separate bathroom down the Hall. Where as All other guest had a connected bathroom within their room… please note this wouldn’t have been so bothersome if the bathroom wasn’t located at the top of the stairs- with an Open View window at the bottom of the stair, looking in.
***Problem can be easily solved by putting up a window curtain -Thank you :)"
