"This is an amazing old building. They managed to modernize without getting rid of the charm, including original floors. The room was large, but cozy. Instead of your typical hotel room, the decor and finishes really make it feel homey. The staff was great. We let them know we would be checking in quite late, and even though they didn't have an overnight desk person scheduled, the guy at the desk stayed until we got there at 2 a.m. The attached Mexican restaurant was delicious. "Room was not as expected. Booking indicated a suite with 2 areas to sleep in. Room has 2 full sized beds and a door without a deadbolt. WiFi and television were out and no discount or warning provided besides a printed sign. Mold on mirror, sink, and shower curtain. Exterior does not appear to match photos provided on booking. Room did have updates but appeared overall to not be ready for guests yet. "
