"Fantastic hotel: location, amenities, service, food, room qualities, views...Pricey, with all the usual ancillary charges (the famous "resort fee"), but overall well worth it given the (mid-tier) quality of other north shore hotels. The design of the property alone, with its vistas of Hanalei Bay around every corner, plus the beautifully appointed rooms and great staff, makes it all worthwhile. Our only minor quibble is the service can be slow at times, especially at their main restaurant and bar, and with their bell (luggage) services. This might have been that they were understaffed given the slightly off-season time we were there, but at these luxury price points slow service, for whatever reason, should not be tolerated. To pay north of $1K per night I expect my food to arrive within a reasonable amount of time (say, within 20m). After all, while the food is very good it is not Michelin-starred (so why the long wait times...?) In the grand scheme of our stay this was minor and we would definitely return."

"The views from this property and this unit are unmatched and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. There were some small issues with the unit when we arrived and the owner worked with us to make it right quickly and had great communication. The unit is well-stocked for a whole family- kitchen needs, beach gear (umbrella, beach chairs, sand toys), tennis gear, etc. My very only small complaint is the lockout doors between the adjoining rooms. If you have a toddler/small child who likes to play with doors, you need to be very careful that they don’t accidentally lock themselves in an area. That said, I would stay at this unit again without a doubt. Excellent location, property, unit, and owners. "

We like the idea of using the two units together if we make it back to Princeville. Resort staff was friendly and were quick with a ride when we needed. Grounds were lush and beautiful and the beach was perfect with turtles at some point every day. Highly recommend Amir’s units as not all have his view. "
