"Great cosy cottage - loved the well eqipped kitched and tasteful firnishings! Fire was gorgeous. Has a truely enormous TV upstairs but we actually never turned it on preferring to chat in the downstairs lounge room near the fire - so unplanned digital detox an added bonus! "

"A nice, spacious, studio style living that is well presented and in a rather unique building.The gas fireplace add some ambience for cold Blue Mountains nights, and is capable of keeping the property warm throughout (there is also reverse cycle air-con). "We had a wonderful stay at this charming 1890s cottage in Blackheath. The house is spacious and filled with quirky antique touches that give it a lovely old-world charm. Everything was immaculately clean, with fresh, crisp bedding that made us feel right at home.The house had everything we needed.The view over the mountains was absolutely stunning—especially in the mornings when the fog rolled in, creating a magical atmosphere. We loved cozying up by the fire in the kitchen and enjoyed watching the projector and the movies in the lounge room by the fire, it made the chilly weather so enjoyable.The location is perfect—just a short drive to local shops, cafes, and scenic lookouts, including the Megalong Valley Tea Rooms. The kids were delighted with the birdlife right outside and had a blast playing with the toys and games provided. Wifi was provided in our stay, and Georgina our house was amazing and very responsive and kind. All in all, a unique and memorable stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with character and comfort."
