"This is a cracking wee hotel. The room I had was outstanding and great value for the price paid. "

"This hotel is branded as affordable luxury, and it really lives up to that. It is in the affordable price range that we are usually in, and is decidedly more luxurious than what we usually experience. The staff is super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and chic. The lobby and restaurant are extremely stylish. My only complaint is that the hotel is listed as having a free airport shuttle. However, the shuttle operates on limited hours during the week, and is not available at all on weekends. We were leaving on a Saturday, and needed to get to the airport. There is a train, but it is a 25 minute walk to the station. Our flight was early, so we took a taxi. It cost 32 pounds. That made the affordable luxury a bit less affordable. It really should be listed as free airport shuttle with limited hours. It is only after you book that you are instructed to contact the hotel about reserving the shuttle, which you do have to do in advance. However, the hotel is still very very nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"The apartment was looking a bit tired. The carpet was stained. The bed was awful they had sprung mattresses which were very uncomfortable and made noises whenever you moved the bins are broken and don’t open. If these items were dealt with it would improve the apartment and possibly warrant top marks"
