"Very tired room. Extremely small size room with a dated bathroom and poor shower. Soap dispensers above sink and in shower both fell off wall first time using it. Went to go to bed at 10pm on the first night (of a 2 night stay) and the karaoke/entertainment started which seemed to be right below our room (room 11) horrendous noise. No mention of entertainment on hotel website. Went to ask what time it was on until, female reception staff told me it would stop at 12pm, although this was not the case, it finished at 1am. My son was dancing in a competition over a 4 day period in the Winter Gardens which is why we chose the hotel. Would definitely not recommended and will not stay again. Really disappointing."

"We paid extra for a view room. The view was the best thing about our room. The room was very stuffy on arrival. Had to put on the fan straight away. The room looked verdy tired, chipped pain, stains on the curtains. I always strip our beds when we stay away, when i stripped the beds the duvet was heavily stain & the mattress was badly stain aswell. The only thing that was ok was the matress topper. The cleanliness really should be looked at. I came away feeling dirty, im positive i came away with marks from bedmites! This is a shocking standard for a hotel chain Hilton! The ceiling yo floor windows would have been lovely but the just looked dirty, i inderstand this is probably from the sea spray, but made the entrance look very dirty. Staff were pleasent. Breakfast was ok but not that impressed at all. Would not reccomend."

"The pool needed booking a slot. When I tried to go it was fully booked. The reason we chose this hotel was the pool in case my daughter wanted to swim. She couldn't. There is also a charge for the pool even is staying here which I thought was crazy. Nothing going on in the bar and was one of the worst pints I have ever had. Breakfast was mediocre. The location and price were great. "

"The hotel needs extensive updating. Yes probably 100 years ago it was exclusive and upmarket. And yes the Queen and many famous people stayed, But they wouldn’t step foot inside now as it’s so run down. If the hotel had a refurb it would be amazing but unfortunately it’s very dated. The room was like going back in time 50 years ago everything including furniture and TV was so old. It’s not cheap to stay either we could have stayed at Hampton Hilton for cheaper. However on the positive side Breakfast was very nice. Was disappointed had to pay £14 to park vehicle in the hotel car park overnight also."

"Lovely clean room, staff were very helpful and friendly. The lobby area had such a lovely vibe, perfect for a glass of vino watching the world go by. Would definitely recommend "

"The room was so nice and the staff were really friendly. The food was okay but there was only certain times that we could eat as it was included in the property. Car parking is a nightmare and couldn't find a suitable place to park and ended up getting a ticket. "

"Hotel were only ok waiting time for dinner was a joke as only one waiter and supervisor were allowed serve dinner even though there qere some lovely young waitress and waiters food dinner only ok there was a grey supervisor and he was not nice to one lovely waitress i frlt so sorry for her fir the price of the hotel iv stayed in better bed and breakfast hotels i wont be returning "
