The room was very dirty with bugs on the floor and stains on the bedding. Only one of the three locks on the door was functioning so I did not feel safe in the rooml. There was no continental breakfast due to COVID.

I was told by the front desk that the breakfast buffet would be fully open. Based on this, I chose to stay there as my 8 year-old wanted waffles in the morning - a treat on our 2k mile trip. The next morning, I was told they weren't available due to COVID. I told him the previous attendant misinformed me and I asked for some type of compensation as waffles were THE reason I chose Econo. I was denied and he wouldn't even make eye contact with me. I travel 10-15 times/yr and won't be back to Econo.

Excellent place to stay!

It’s a small place so I didn’t expect much. The staff wasn’t overly friendly but customer service was good. Everything was clean, comfortable, and warm. The price was right. They provided an adequate breakfast with all the basics. They surpassed our expectations, we would definitely come back!

Tina Turner Heritage Weekend, close to Nutbush too

We stayed here while attending the Tina Turner Heritage Weekend. It was within walking to the Tina Turner Museum which was perfect for us. There’s nothing really going on around here. We drove in to Brownsville, Nutbush and Ripley. We had great BBQ in Brownsville in a little hole in the wall. The hotel was clean, tidy and check in was easy. The pool was bright green which didn’t bother us as we weren’t swimming lol. The breakfast was ok. I never ate it but my friend did. For the price the hotel was just what we needed for two nights.

Liked the convenient location to the highway. The updated flooring and new furniture was nice in this otherwise dated building. Room was very clean, and once air conditioning was turned on musty smell went away. Great deal for the price!

Needed a place to stay while traveling. Pre booked but parking area was pretty empty when we we got there and kind of dark. When I checked in though the office and room were all newly remodeled and great. Nput better lighting outside and it's an great place to stop
