"The accommodation was more of a B&B with convenient location and nice hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and spacious, breakfast in the dining area was nice with some locally sourced ingredients and the hosts were helpful giving us tips what to see, offering us to use the kitchen fridge if we needed it etc.

One of the most beautiful & romantic locations ever visited. The chocolates were amazing as was the lace. We toured the canals via the boats (highly recommend). We took a day trip to Ghent as well. The food was wonderful and the people very nice.

Het Hof van Rembrandt is the best of the eateries near the main square. Cafe Rose Red is in a tiny street two or three minutes walk from the centre and is definitely worth a visit. Walk around. Bruges is small - you won't get lost - just wander...

The Belfry is great for views over the city. Over the Christmas period they have a light show called Winter Glow, very impressive and great free entertainment in an evening. The Half Moon brewery and tour is a must. There is so much to see and do

What a gorgeous place with so many beautiful old buildings well-preserved. Everywhere you look, you find a view that's worth photographing. It was definitely one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited in the world, and I travel a lot!

I would recommend a walking tour of Bruges, i did a very good one. I hadn't booked but was lucky to find a free walking tour starting from the square. A good tour guide makes all the difference in introducing you to a new town or city.

Bruges is such an interesting little city, so much to explore and admire. City center is very, very busy with tourists but we never had to wait in line or pre-book anything. Belfort, Jerusalem Church and canal tour were highlights.

We have visited many times but never in January. Quite a few shops and bars closed but it was quiet in general. You are spoilt for choice on where to eat and drink and it was nice to walk around without the usual crowds.

Bruges can be a bit crowded, but it had a calm, easygoing vibe. The whole city seems to be just as beautiful as the main square, and the beer was amazing. Everyone seems to speak 4 languages. Would love to return someday.

Loved Bruges, beautiful city. Even watched the movie "In Bruges" in our hotel room, in Bruges! So much history and character and, of course, chocolate. Can't wait to go back with our grown children and their spouses.

Picture perfect. Food market on Wednesday morning great for cooked food. Highlight was the canal boat trip. The wee bus tour worth the money for people with mobility issues. You see so much, including windmills.
"This hotel was one the best, gorgeous decor when you enter. Receptionists helpful. Room was very spacious. Bathroom clean but could do with an overhead more modern shower to go with the modern room. We couldn't get the air con working but this was fixed.
Breakfast was vast - every dish you could want, fry up, cereals, pancakes, breads, cheeses, meats, yoghurts, fresh fruit.
If we went to Bruges again we would stop there without any hesitation"

"The hotel was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had a bath and a shower in the room. The shower was very nice - the cubicle itself was a bit small but overall the room had everything you need. The hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring Bruges. We were able to charge the car in the underground car park of the hotel which was a big perk for us.
I would say it can be a bit tricky to find the hotel. We arrived in the early hours of the morning due to a delayed ferry, and it was quite hard to find the reception and the underground car park.
Overall this is a fantastic place to stay when in Bruges. We cannot fault the rooms, the location or the staff, everything was fantastic!"

"It is almost impossible to fault this hotel. Their breakfast is fantastic, their beds and bedding excellent. The staff is helpful and kind. I have stayed several times in this hotel and will continue to return. The only issue that can be addressed is the soundproofing. Late returns in neighbouring rooms can be heard sometimes."
