"Great instructions and the property was as described. Host explained that the previous guests had broken the bathroom window. The window was jammed open so it was freezing and totalli insecure. The door lock had been damaged so we could only use a small slide lock to secure it at night. Not at all safe. Despite this we enjoyed our stay as it was ckean and comfortable. "

"This gorgeous hut was amazing to stay in, so relaxing, clean, cosy and a perfect little get away. The hot tub was brilliant, great temperature and clean, they heating inside the hut was great and the shower was a great size, would definitely stay again here "

"Luxury is not how I would explain this room. Tastefully decorated and comfy seating and bed it has.The property looks onto the back garden of the house, narrow path leading to the front door, (watch out for the cobwebs) Please do not invite anyone to visit as only 2 cups are provided, only 2 knives, 2 breakfast bowls and 2 spoons,1 tea spoon and no microwaveable bowl. The tv and shower are fine, there are no instructions on how to manage the tv, cooker, microwave, but we had 4 days to work it out. thank goodness we did'nt need heating. Never met the host. Plz visit the chinese restaurant Mr Chu."

"Excellent location and easy access to surrounding areas by car to Hornsea, Hull and York. An excellent bus route was also observed.Amenities are in a walks reach and Burnby Hall gardens is worth a visit to see the fish with Sainsburys opposite and Market Street cafe does an excellent breakfast.The cottage enabled all of us to have space to eat, drink and sleep with ease.Unfortunately, emails were not answered and caused some issues with the sleeping arrangements (no futon in front bedroom so sleep was disturbed) and anxiety about how we gained access to the cottage.The front room wardrobe could not be used as it was full of bedding and other paraphernalia. On first inspection the cottage was beautifully presented and clean but requires a little TLC. (showers screens, bases, filters and heads needed a thorough cleaning. Socket at the side of the bed was loose, previous guests clothing in the wardrobe and a bed finial was not attached .)"

"We had such a lovely stay at Milliner’s Cottage. The beds were super comfy and the property was spotless with a lovely little garden to enjoy the evening sun. Helen and Patrick were very welcoming and helpful with check-in. Looking forward to returning!"

"What a fantastic stay at The Carpenters cottage. The hosts Helen and Patrick were so warm and welcoming and Patrick also has an amazing workshop you can have a look at. We came to stay for my birthday to watch a band at the arts centre, and had such a wonderful time. Everybody was so kind and generous. The cottage was very comfortable, super clean and warm. The log burner is brilliant. Easy walk into the centre of town and lots of places to eat and drink. Definitely will stay again of we're next up this way :)"
