"Decent room and very nice hotel in a great hotel, just a short walk from the town. The place could be cleaner but it’s lovely still. Breakfast isn’t great."

"Could do with a hoover under bunk beds. Didn’t have all of the advertised vegetables with roast dinner and wasn’t offered any alternatives or discount. Service in restaurant and bar slow at times. Beautiful view of PolZeath beach . Sofas could do with a clean as water stains on them and a few more cushions on sofa would be a nice extra.Overall very pleased with our stay and would return again."

"Excellent quiet location, just a few minutes walk to Padstow Harbour. Great communication from the owners. The house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay away from home. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 dogs. Would highly recommend. "

"We had a lovely stay despite a rocky start due to the cleanliness of the beds - we spent the first couple of hours in Tesco, buying new mattress protectors, bedlinen, duvets and the contents of the non existent welcome hamper! The living space and kitchen were great but the rest of the property could do with some updating and a little bit of TLC. Little things like a new kettle, toaster and a washing machine that didn’t sound like it was about to explode would be a good start!! The view was perfect and the access to Polzeath was fab. "

"The property is the perfect location for Trevone bay and rocky beach, the children loved it and not far to visit Padstow or numerous other beaches. The property was very clean and well equipped, and we especially enjoyed the downstairs wet room and utility to shower after a beach day. I would highly recommend this property it has everything you need for a great holiday."

"Nice old beamed cottage half way up the hill in Tevone. Great beach nearby, also close to Padstow. Local pub (Wellparc) is quite run down, but there is also Rick Steins cornish arms relatively nearby and of course padstow. Cottage is on the snug side for a family of four, it is an old cottage after all. The living room ceiling is low anyone who might be over about 5’8 may need to duck the beams.The shower (downstairs bathroom) was a bit temperamental, but setting heat to 0 and turning it on and off again did the trick, sometimes after a few attempts. Reasonably equipped kitchen. Otherwise all fine."
