Our recent weekend getaway at Champneys Buxton Crescent Hotel and Wellness Spa was nothing short of spectacular, delivering an exceptional luxury experience from start to finish. The hotel’s location is perfection. Situated right in the heart of the historic market spa town of Buxton, it provides the ultimate convenience for exploring the town's elegant streets and nearby parks, all while maintaining an atmosphere of peaceful serenity. The property itself is a breathtaking masterpiece - a grand, Grade I-listed Georgian curve that seamlessly blends magnificent heritage architecture with immaculate, contemporary high-end luxury. We stayed in the stunning Crescent bedroom, which was a masterclass in comfort and sophistication. Spacious, bright, and beautifully appointed with traditional features, the room overlooked the relaxing spa rooftop outdoor pool. Each morning began with an outstanding breakfast easily earning its status as a highlight of our stay. However, the true crown jewel of the weekend was the beautiful spa. The world-class wellness facilities, highlighted by the mineral-rich thermal pool beneath its striking stained-glass canopy, offered a serene sanctuary for complete rejuvenation. For anyone seeking a flawless, high-end retreat in Derbyshire, this iconic property comes with our highest recommendation."

"Staff were absolutely wonderful. My wife and I checked in around 10:30pm after a wedding reception. Personally at the desk found that of no inconvenience was cheerful and welcoming. Very clean and comfortable room. Slept like logs - logs don’t snore. Verry happy."

"The perfect property for a home from holiday. The cottage was very spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you should need. It was lovely to have onsite parking.Jo was lovely very welcoming, and made you feel like a friend and gave some great eating places recommendations. It was so nice we are already planning to return next year."
