Les Grands Cyprès - chambres d'hôtes, bed and breakfast

10/10 Excellent

"We booked last minute since we arrived to Carcassonne earlier than expected. The hostess graciously accepted our booking and made us feel exceedingly welcome. The property is gorgeous, high end, very comfortable, and clean. We felt like welcomed family. The bed and pillows were great. The air conditioning was perfect. The bathroom was well equipped with amenities. I wish we could have stayed longer! The included breakfast was lovingly prepared and ready at the time we chose. It was so much more than we could eat with artisanal bread, croissants, fresh chopped fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, and 3 HOME MADE jams, which we devoured. Complimentary parking within the gated yard made it even better. The little town is adorable. Please consider this as a great alternative to staying in the city. While it was only minutes away, it was a world apart. The rates are more than reasonable for what we got…which was a genuine connection in a beautiful place. Exactly what we needed after a tough day of driving. We could not recommend higher. We are filled with gratitude to have experienced this warm couple and their phenomenal hospitality."

Rose des Pyrénées

10/10 Excellent

"I had a very good stay here. My room was very comfortable and clean with good air-con. The hotel has a nice garden with a small swimming pool, perfect on a hot afternoon. I had 2 dinners - both excellent and good value. I did however think the breakfast was rather disappointing, would have been nice to have more choice and fresh jams etc, rather than plastic pots."

Stylish modern villa with private heated pool in scenic Trebes, near Carcassonne

10/10 Excellent

"What an incredible property – it was absolutely perfect for our needs: four adults and one toddler. Everything was exactly as shown; in fact, the photos don’t do the property justice!Richard and Helen were on hand to help with any questions, and the pool was a godsend in the hot weather. A gas barbecue, bikes and even pool inflatables were provided too. There was plenty of living space, fully equipped kitchen, three generously sized bedrooms with lots of storage, and off-street parking, making this the perfect place for our family trip. The property is only a few minutes’ walk from the canal, where you’ll find cafés and bars overlooking the water. The nearest supermarket is also just a few minutes away by car.We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property!"

Dreamhome B&B Limoux

10/10 Excellent

"Brilliant welcome Mikael’s recommendation for Steph and Coco restaurant superb; booking essential though! Facilities such as small swimming pool and well-stocked honesty bar (3€ a helping). Excellent breakfast. Small criticism; shower screen rather than curtains that cling would be preferred."

Fully equipped villa with swimming pool

10/10 Excellent

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette charmante petite maison située dans une résidence très calme. Le propriétaire est disponible et à l'écoute"

Nature Cathare

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely shabby chic style hotel with lots of upcycled features within a renovated collection of buildings around a central courtyard. Attentive welcome from the owner and lots of nice touches, such as the gifting of a delicious homemade chocolate dessert on our final night. Makes a pleasant change from overly commercialised and formulaic hotels, where you are just part of a pipeline of guests - this feels more like staying with family or friends. Highly recommended"
