"The property was nice but the staff was the problem the concierge was basically non existent they tell you to text or call so that they can arrange dinner reservations or anything else you need but they never responded at all and we had to go find a concierge to book our dinners also we called for room service the line is always busy and when someone does answer they put you on hold and then the line hangs up then at checkout we had issues with the checkout and there is no one to help like a supervisor or manager just one person who cannot change anything . Very rude and threatened to not allow us to leave without paying the total amount even though there were issues with the bill and we were told just pay now then they will figure it out later not the best situation to be in overall I will never return to this resort again"

"Absolutely everything was wonderful from the minute we checked in until the moment we checked out! The pool was awesome! The staff was amazing! The food was very good and we never went hungry! The drinks were plentiful! The staff always went above and beyond! The entire grounds were beautiful! If I had to make a complaint, it would be with the Coatis! They are absolutely obnoxious and I wish you could get rid of them, or quarantine them off. You offer food on the beach with picnic tables for people to sit, but most can't sit there because these obnoxious animals will actually jump on the table and steal people's food. It scary and dangerous. I have actually seen them grab food right out of people's hands! I really detest these animals. I think maybe fencing in the food eating area may help. That would actually be my only complaint. Our first trip here was 21 years ago, and we absolutely love the Iberostars. Lots has changed, but we still keep coming back. Thank you for another wonderful vacation!"

"Work was great. The drinks were fine. Good burger was good. The kids had a good time. One complaint is the stores prices or merchandise is outrageous. $80 for a stuffed animal is a crazy ask for. They would make so much more money if they charged $20-$30 I would’ve bought four or five of those things."

"From the moment we booked to the time we checked out, the Mamma Loo staff was in constant communication with us. They let me know about prices outside the stay rates beforehand, they helped me arrange a welcome bouquet for my girlfriend, arranged for us to have a grill dinner and took breakfast all the way to our kuchil ( that’s how you say space/home in mayan). Bathroom was clean, dinning area was tidy and the room was nice and comfortable. My girlfriend loved this, she said “ we should do this at least once per month, her energy was restored”. I want to come back and I would recommend you stay, piece of advice: try to disconnect from your phone, there’s lots of fauna to discover. Ps. Colibrí is a very nice dog, you’ll win her heart if you bring a little snack. "
