"This was a great place to stay for two nights in late October and to take out and back day trips by train to Siena and Florence on back-to-back days. Very close to the train station - very convenient. Breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was small, but good. Highly recommend this location! It's small, but serviced and supported very well by the staff at the restaurant. "

"Not only is the location absolutely gorgeous, I have never in felt more welcome. The staff is phenomenal and reads every wish off your lips, rooms are very spacious, spotless clean and just great. Make sure to try their food. Its incredible.

"The hotel has a sewage smell that was very off-putting. It was dirty and old with little care and/or attention to improve it. The town in which it sits is a ‘dying area’ with nowhere to go nearby. A couple of nice staff members worked here but overall it was very, very disappointing."

"Our group included grandparents and 2 families. The Villa provided all the space we needed with several area's to sit. The pool was fantastic and host, Alice really helpful. The beds were comfortable, and ensuites, although a little tired all functioned well. Any problems were remedied quickly and efficiently"

"The city was easy to get around in walking. The apartment is pretty centrally located. It is also easy to get from here to most of Umbria and a fair amount of Tuscany. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating."

"My family of 8 adults just finished a magical week in Maria’s family estate. We had plenty of room as the house is divided into suites. The main floor has a common living room and kitchen area, which was a barn long ago. (If you cannot climb stairs, one suite is ground level.)The views and sunsets from the kitchen are breath taking! There are many areas to eat al fresco and the beautiful and large pool was used daily. The house is surrounded by Maria’s lush olive grove and cypress trees which provided privacy. The flower boxes are all blooming and the property is obviously lovingly cared for. The house is conveniently situated between Citta Della Pieve (great restaurants!) and Chiusi. We visited as far away as Montalcino, Arezzo, Orvieto, Assisi, (all within an hour drive) and everywhere in between. We will remember PODERE TRESA forever for providing an enchanting base for our Tuscany/ Umbria adventure! Thank you, Maria, for sharing your family home with us!"

"We loved staying here. The property is spacious, indoor and out. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool since it was very hot the week we were here. We scheduled a cooking class with Francesca, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were eating leftovers all week!Alice was there to greet us when we arrived, which was very nice. But it would be helpful to have written instructions for us Americans who don't know how to use European appliances and air conditioning.It was a surprise that we had to pay additional fees for air conditioning and tax. The listing stated that heating would incur extra fees, but not the AC. Minor issue: the listing included 'shampoo.' There was only a small sample package. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking implements, as well as some basic food items."
