High quality tea and coffee plus biscuits in the room and to top it all an excellent breakfast the next day. "Clean, quiet, hot breakfast included. Lodge is on the cathedral grounds and I highly recommend walking the grounds after 9 pm when everyone else has departed."

"Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus."

"Howfield Manor is a really lovely hotel. Quite a unique venue. The staff were so helpful. This is my second time at the hotel yesterday was for sisters Celebration of Life. We were in the marque which was beautifully laid out, the food was extremely good and the staff were very helpful. We had a lovely room which was very clean and we had a superb view of the gardens. Highly recommended."
