"On arrival and during our stay the reception staff were extremely helpful and all spoke good English. There was a very good and continually well stocked breakfast. Certainly above the average for Italian hotels. The breakfast staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and once again their English was very good. The air conditioning in the room worked well and the room itself including the bathroom were very large and the bath etc towels were of a very good standard and replaced daily. The only negative I would make and this is a common practice in Italian hotels is that there was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room."

"A beautiful hotel just a short walk from Lucca train station and across the road from the city walls. The staff were amazing with special mention to Giuliana in the breakfast room. She was friendly and accommodating to our needs. Even though just set off the road, the hotel was so peaceful and tranquil and, whilst modern it had a wonderful charm. We would definitely stay again and wholeheartedly recommend it."

"Perfectly situated inside the wall, very near Porto Elisa. I was in Lucca for a month and was taking Italian at LIS. It was a 5 minute walk to school. Only a block or so from the wall, which is beautiful. Paola and Vicnicio have created an amazing space with everything you might need. Paola responds immediately if you have a question and makes you feel as if it is your home. There is AC in the main bedroom (I was there for the entire August heatwave) but she will teach you how to keep the apt cool. Super close to the Conad for groceries, and it’s easy peasy to get to the train station. Filled with light and a VERY happy home."

"I was a little worried as it was close to the railway station but location was excellent and good vibes all round. A lovely and quirky hotel in an excellent location, just a few hundred yards/metres and you are through the city walls. City and the Mura di Lucca are spectacular! Would recommend and will gladly stay again as plan to be back again in the next year."
