"Beds were clean although mattresses needed changing .Hotel up for sale so no food or drink anywhere.Just a building to sleep in, but very convenient for shops,castle,prison and the river."

"It was a wonderful stay, the room was massive and so clean! It was all arranged so well! The staff was very sweet and professional.. they helped us with genuine care! The food is delicious, and there are walking paths around the property if anyone is interested in any forest trails. There's also a small region for kids to play around. "Good communal area for children and staff were pleasant. However there was a very strong unpleasant smell thoughout the hotel and in the rooms. There was also large stains on the carpet in the hallways which were wet - we assume they had been recently cleaned. Breakfast was ok - however they had ran out off pastries when we attended at 9.30. Overall unlikely to stay again due to cleanliness/smell. "

"The hotel was as always clean and tidy with very polite and helpful staff. The only problem was with the swimming pool and spa area . The pool was very dirty and the jacuzzi was broken apparently broken for a while . This said it is still exceptionally good value and the first time of a few visits that the pool has been below standards. We will definitely go again . "
