"The Strand Palace could not be in a better location. You’re truly 10-15 min walk from most major attractions and if not just a 5 min walk to two tube stations to go anywhere else. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and the breakfast had anything you could’ve wanted. Rooms have thin walls so unfortunately you hear your neighbours but that’s just part of the charm of the old building. Would recommend"

"Breakfast v.good plenty of choice. Polite staff.Rooms clean but a little tired. Could do with an update particularly the bathroom. Bit of a wait checking in & room not ready at 15.00pm Be prepared to queue. Saying that the view from our room was great overlooking Tower Bridge."

"Well located hotel - close to Waterloo station and the south bank. The hotel itself was clean and staff helpful. The rooms were pleasant and I had a good view from one of the higher floors. I didn’t eat there so can’t comment on that. Would stay there again."

"Would not recommend this hotel. Firstly, on my second night the fire alarms went off 5 times all throughout the night and the hotel couldn't tell us anything, causing anxiety and stress, as well as no sleep. The hotel cleaning staff entered my room twice even though I had the do not disturb sign up. The room was not clean and I had a dried up contact lens left on the window sill when I arrive. I also emailed the hotel after the stay to query the fire alarms and had no response. 100% avoid"

"I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The did not seem to have been dusted, or vacuumed. The bathroom sink did not look to be cleaned and had what appeared to be makeup residue all over it. The soap dispensers were nearly empty. You are only given 2 bath towels and a tiny floor mat. The wall next to the bed appeared to have things smeared on the wall. There must be a night club attached to the building because you can hear and feel the bass of the music until 3AM. Even with ear plugs you can still hear the music and feel the vibrations."
