This is a clean, beautiful, spacious oasis is the midst of an otherwise teeming, bustling part of London. The quiet and out of the way street it's on is a sanctuary and a welcome getaway between the excitement of Borough Market and the Thames waterfront atrractions like Tate Modern. Although this hotel is really near Borough Market, it is situated on a quiet side street. The room met all expectations. It was not overly large, but it was fully equiped and had modern, superior grade fittings. We used the kitchen daily and could not find any deficits. We have already booked our next stay.

I arrived incredibly early and thought I'd ask if I could store my case, my room was ready and I was able to check In before 11am, allowing me time to shower and freshen up before heading out to meetings. The location, building & room itself were lovely. The bathroom was a wetroom made for wheelchair access - we had not requested this - and the shower water went everywhere, the entire floor flooded. When we asked about it we were told they were fully booked and they’d leave towels in our room for us to put on the floor. No towels ever appeared. It was noisy during the night with what sounded like industrial bin emptying.
