"This Hotel was such a pleasant surprise right from check in to check out. We stayed for 3 nights as the location was maybe a 20 min walk to Yankee Stadium if that and a 5 min walk to the subway. Our room was clean and fresh. We had our own mini split in our room to control the AC which was awesome as NY was in the middle of a heat wave and the unit worked great! We were able to control our own temp. The room was huge with a king size bed, TV worked great! Walk in shower was amazing, spacious with lots of pressure and lots of hot water. Ample towels and face cloths. We were able to park for $30/night which was a treat compared to Times Square or anywhere downtown and it was gated and secure. Breakfast hand cooked every morning was included and delicious! Everyone was so kind and very helpful! The front desk greeted us everytime we left and came back from each game. The only thing I would say is I wished they offered bigger pillows however there were 6 squared pillows but small and we were on the ground floor facing the street so our curtains were closed the whole time but it wasn't bothersome at all. There was a full length mirror in the entrance of the room however a mirror over the huge desk would have been perfect for getting ready. We really enjoyed our stay here and would gladly stay again! Thank you Highbridge!!"
