"I very much enjoyed my stay at Vila Galé! The staff were excellent from check in to check out, the property itself is beautiful in an old, but updated colonial property. I stayed in one of the apartments right beside the pool and terrace, and even while you were situated with a walkway outside the room, I felt safe and comfortable enough to open the windows wide and take a nap or do whatever within the room. A lovely restaurant where we celebrated our friend’s birthday. Wonderful balcony room with a slight view of Christ Reedemer. Loved the pool and pool bar, although the cocktail making could do with some attention, and the staff there were slow. Would come back to stay if ever in Rio again. "
