BLUE GHOST HOST
Spring
Blue Ghost tower is named from the rare Blue Ghost fire flies that have been witnessed here during spring and summer nights. The flies' constant blue luminance fills the night air with their mysterious presence. The tower tributes the blue fly with lush natural surroundings. This is a very special place bright and airy and one with nature. Most days at the tower are filled with sunlight and star filled nights. Charmingly appointed and a wonderful mill creek waterfall view and surrounding mountains. High elevation spring weather lasts well into June. Ideal private getaway for 2. Charmingly appointed and very relaxing natural setting nestled on the mountainside. Perfect location for those seeking all the adventures the blue ridge mountains have to offer. Kayak, power boat rentals, hiking, horseback riding, fishing and mountain villages await you. And possibly a rare visit from the Blue Ghost fly

We loved our stay at the Blue Ghost Cabin. We were here with peak fall colors so the view of the waterfall from the porch was extra gorgeous. The cabin was perfectly outfitted for our needs and super cozy. The host was really communicative and helpful when we needed anything.
A great place for a restful getaway! Dean is a great host- responsive, respectful and helpful. Situated on a mountainside overlooking lake. Located nearby Cashiers and Highlands for great meals and shopping. Highly recommend.
I went to visit my niece and get her checked in college. I made a little vacation out of it. I picked this place that was peaceful and out of the way. Dean was very helpful getting me checked in and making sure I had everything I needed. The place was nice and had good amenities. I only recommend doing your shopping and buying your food before arriving. The drive down the mountain can take time.
A unique and wonderful stay. Be prepared for the steep driveway and short haul from the parking area and be rewarded with a one of a kind cabin in the woods. So many details to ponder and enjoy as you get familiar with your surroundings. We truly enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone who loves the peaceful outdoors.
The house was beautiful and cozy with a lovely view of the lake and waterfall, with plenty of trees to give some privacy. The host was very helpful and make the check in and out processes as easy as possible. My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic weekend of swimming, kayaking, and fishing and would stay at this house again in the future!
We stayed three nights. It was more awesome in person than you can tell in pictures.
Dean was very informative and did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable.
We will be going back.
Beautiful area and amazing view of the lake and waterfall. Dean was very accommodating and fast to respond to questions.
We look forward to going back.
This is a wonderful place amazing home and location . Very quiet and peaceful we will be back in the future . Dean is very helpful making sure everything is just right .
Beautiful hand built cabin with views of waterfall and Lake Glenville from expansive deck. Dean was a great host and even met us at the cabin to answer any questions and show us around. The cabin sits high on the mountain side so you do need an all wheel drive vehicle or truck to get up to top of drive, which was not a problem for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
