"The hotel was good overall and had a convenient location. The room size was actually quite good for Japan, which was a nice surprise. The hotel itself felt a bit old and could use some renovation. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t controllable—although they informed us about this from the beginning and even provided a fan at check-in, which helped. Cleanliness was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

"The hotel is a comfortable distance away from various sites and quite close to the subway station, making it easy to go to places. The breakfast buffet was good and had different options. The room was clean and colorful, although a bit cramped with the third bed that was moved into the room to accommodate our family (I did stub my toe haha), but we did not expect the room to be any bigger. The staff were respectful. Overall, a very good hotel! "

The breakfast was our favorite throughout all of our Japan travels. I brought my students on a spiritual pilgrimage to Japan and this hotel made everyone wonderful while we were in Kyoto⛩️ I'm getting ready to make another reservation to come back with my husband in a few days.
