"Comfortable stay at The Board Inn which is ideally situated in the centre of Hawes. The breakfast was served in a building next door and the lady who was on duty was very helpful, breakfast came quickly and was excellent"

"A little gem, absolutely loved pur stay! The cottage feel to our twin room (no.4) was in keeping with the village and the feel of the pub. The staff (man and woman on the evening service) made our stay! Loved eveything about it and will definitely return x"

"Another great stay. Have stayed here three times before. Location excellent for all local amenities and walks. Excellent addition is being able to leave all coats and shoes down stairs so not taking wet coats and shoes upstairs. Had problem with Internet which housekeeper and owner sorted promptly. Property has everything you would need in he kitchen. Plenty of hot water and didn't need the heating. Only negative were cobwebs and spiders but expect this in the countryside and property hadn't had anyone in for a few weeks before our visit"

"Picture postcard hotel. We had a garden room which was tastefully decorated and being able to sit in our own conservatory was great but the hotel had a bar and snug which were also lovely spaces. Beautiful garden with stunning views over to Hawes and it was just so peaceful to sit out there. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast and we also had dinner in the hotel and this was beautifully presented and delicious."

"We enjoyed a fabulous couple of days at Herriot's. Our room had beautiful views and was very comfortable and clean, breakfast 10/10. Highly recommended."

"This lovely setting in a little courtyard right by Gayl Beck was a great base for a Dales holiday. Within minutes of the national park information centre and the village centre, it was the perspective starting point for 3 perfect days out. The car had a rest too as we could access some lovely walks from our doorstep and the Little White Bus for further afield"
