"Property was everything we needed and more.Lovely welcome pack waiting for us in Cottage.Superbly decorated with feature wallpaper in most rooms. The brand new log burner was an added bonus. Very Comfy bed.Local facilities are plentiful , We can highly recommend the “Green Dragon Pub” in Hardraw and “The White Hart” a 2min walk from Cottage."

"Comfy, clean property. Quality beds & bedding. Views from the large windows which also let lots of light in even in winter. Small but well equipped kitchen which had everything we needed for our stay. Very convenient for nipping into town for shops etc. Hawes is a lovely place with a good range of shops and facilities and walks from the door. There was a problem with the heating which we reported and the caretaker (who is local) came to check it out. We weren't cold as there was an 'emergency' heater available which helped to supplement the central heating. The owner has since contacted me to advise the problem has been resolved."

"Our welcome when we arrived was excellent. Liz was very helpful telling us sbout breakfast etc. Our room no 5 was quite spacious and had a nice view of the hillside of the dale. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Glenn was very efficient and knowledgeable about the area and made you feel relaxed with his banter. The en suite was a tad small but we managed ok. Will return and stay with them again at some point if we are visiting the area."
