"I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10 however a coffee machine either regular coffee or espresso, coffee and cream in the fridge would’ve been perfect. But unfortunately, all we had was Nespresso instant coffee and I felt like I was constantly bothering reception to send up someone with milk or cream. Other than this everything else was as I said 10 out of 10."

"La struttura essendo un po' datata rimane comunque in buone condizioni bisogna fare dei piccoli interventi di manutenzione, camere pulite con personale efficiente, il mare è veramente vicino si arriva in 5 minuti a piedi tutto il percorso al fresco. Ristorante con varietà di primi, secondi e contorni e locale con aria condizionata sempre accesa, animazione da migliorare nonostante i ragazzi si sono abbastanza impegnati a rendere la vacanza divertente."

Aziz was a pleasure as was every other member of staff we encountered. The hotel is very nice. Clean. Quiet. Relaxing. If I ever visit again, I’ll be sure to book a reservation at the Michelin Star restaurant on the premises. Which nobody ever mentioned. That’s how classy everyone was. No pretense. No ego. Just a nice place staffed by genuine and good people.

La Suite del Faro sits in a residential area on a hill with outstanding views of Scalea and the sea. The outdoor area is a beautiful large terrace, where we enjoyed a splendid breakfast served by the hosts. The room felt luxurious with a very comfortable bed, mini fridge, and great bathroom. The owner had taken extra measures to insure the room's cleanliness during pandemic times. Parking is in an enclosed garage below the house; guests are given a fob for independent access to it. Loved our one night stay here! Lovely family. Room was quiet and clean. The garden is really lovely. Super close to town and restaurants. Parking is across the street. Breakfast was our favorite. Absolutely wonderful food, brought to the room to eat out on the patio. I will definitely stay again when in Tropea.
