"We are from the US and were expecting an attendant to check us in. Once we understood the automated process, we were OK. By US standards, the hotel room was very small and spartan, but clean. Only five TV channels, all in Danish. Only a couple towels. Two of the tiniest beds I've ever seen. The room was also very hot at night with no AC, especially after the sun heated up the walls and drapes during the relatively warm days we had. We tried to open the door to the outside but traffic roaring...

"Køkkenet var hamrende ulækkert. Ovnen var under al kritik. Ikke rengjort i meget meget lang tid. Så ulækkert at jeg ikke ville bruge den. Lampen i køkkenet var “ loddent”. Vinduerne møg beskidte. Trænger gevaldigt til en gang maling. Det hele var meget slidt. Mandag morgen kl. 8 bankede det på køkkenvinduet. Det var rengøringsmanden der ville spørge om jeg manglede noget. Det er simpelthen ikke i orden. Tænk at kigge ind af vinduet. Hvad er det dog for noget 😡. Og skulle først være ude...

"Unfortunately, our stay at Go Hotel Østerport was extremely disappointing. We were not informed upon arrival that major construction was taking place around the hotel, despite it being directly outside our bedroom window. On both mornings, construction started at around 8am and continued until we left around 10–11am. It was incredibly loud, with workers shouting, dropping materials and playing music.
