"The hotel room had chipped and peeling paint. The carpet was stained. The shampoo and hand soap wasn’t filled up. The furniture was peeling on the edges and the television volume wasn’t clear."

"They are doing alot of renovations right now but our room had very strong paint fume smell. The room was clean except for the ANTS! Our stuff was covered in ants when we came back. We got ant spray from the front desk. Never had that happen before. Terribly hard beds. The lady that checked us in was very sweet & we appreciated rhe pet friendly policy. Breakfast was ok. Cant overlook the ants though"

"An outstanding place and excellent host. The prairie setting is absolutely sublime, and the house was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed, including fresh cookies! We wish we would have stayed longer. Kevin was very responsive to our messages and even gave us a tour of his incredible prairie and grounds. You won’t find another place like this: it’s a complete original. Looking for an excuse to come back again for a longer stay."
