"Easy process, great amenities and great price."

"The value for the money of this place was excellent. You have to pay a small fee for access to the Big Canoe amenities, but it was well worth it. Be aware, this is a cabin-like place in the woods. There are spiders, and lots of them. One or two may even get into your cabin or spin a web on your car. Just remember that you are in their home and you'll be okay. Wifi is spotty at best."

"It's an older hotel, but very well kept and always affordable! The washer and dryer work great and only cost $2.00 per machine! Anywhere else you're paying almost $4, just to start one cycle. The staff is very friendly and always helpful."

"The stay was fine. I did appreciate that the outdoor walkway/hall lights were left on at night. That felt safer, especially since allegedly someone called the office posing as my husband (I've been divorced for several years), and I had not gotten around to sharing my location with anyone, not even my family members. The owner/manager did call me before putting the call through, and the dispensed with it when I did not accept the call."

"The amenities for this property were great, and the grounds were beautiful, but the property itself wasn’t very clean. We found dirty dishes in the cabinets and there were bugs in the loft. Some of the lights didn’t work. There was no salt or pepper & we had to buy our own coffee and extra toilet paper etc. So if you’re going, bring everything you need. The phones were answered by an answering service who knew nothing about the property and could only page the management. We had fun but we were...

"This cabin is charming and cozy. It’s nicely decorated and well-stocked. We appreciated the selection of coffee pods and the bottle of wine. The hosts also had other thoughtful touches like a walking stick for the trails, maps and other information about the area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck to look at the stars. The hosts were very responsive. We would stay again. "

"Awesome 3 level cabin, with very tasteful decorations and comfortable furniture for lounging and sleeping. Three outside porches, two with screens and one open on an upper level, were wonderful for watching nature and relaxing. Plenty of accessible hikes with grocery shopping and a few restaurants within minutes. Hard to believe this jewel is an hour away from the hustle and bustle and traffic of Atlanta. We definitely want to return! Lots of room to bring friends & family, but it wasn’t too...
