"No issue with the property itself, they are renovating so good things to come I am sure. The only issue I had was the shower was not hot enough. It was a cold morning in Putaruru, and I really wanted a nice steaming hot shower, but sadly it just wasn't hot enough."

"One of the best places we've stayed at, ever! Beautiful setting, lots of extra touches, and plenty of space. Fresh bread and a chilled bottle of prosecco greeted us, along with generous breakfast items in the huge fridge. The hot tub was heavenly and the shower is excellent (as is the bath tub). The curtains blocked the light nicely in the mornings, but then we could enjoy the huge windows and lovely views. Thank you for a great stay. "

"We ended up leaving. It stunk there was moldy food in top of oven. No smoke alarms. We were actually disgusted. Windows were dirty. We didnt want to make a scene so said we had to leave for family matters. Would not recommend this place infact no smoke alarms is a major health and safety breech. Never be back."

We bought our own after the host didn’t reply to our messages about where to find the heaters. Other than that a great place. "

"Had a really great stay at Rydges Rotorua. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well looked after. The staff were fabulous and very friendly throughout my stay. There was an issue with the WiFi in my room, that seemed to be isolated to that room only. The team investigated and when couldn't resolve it moved me to another room, which solved the problem straight away. Overall, very happy with the stay and would definitely come back."

"Stayed one night at Millennium Rotorua with the family. The location is definitely the best part — very close to Polynesian Spa and only about a 10-minute walk to the shops and restaurants. But honestly, the hotel itself just felt like a basic room for a very high price. I really don’t understand why many hotels in New Zealand lack simple standard amenities that are common in Asia.
