"Modern and clean hotel - bedroom well appointed and spacious. Bed very comfortable. Great location for the town centre and the Crucible! Breakfast felt a bit scrappy - lot of tables were left with dirty plates etc and a few items seemed to have run out and not been replaced. We visited the bar twice for a nightcap and it was a nice relaxed place for a late drink. Only issue we had was the strength of the scented air in the bedrooms - it was so strong. If you are sensitive to scent then this wouldn't be ideal and I'm not sure why it's necessary!"

The pub and food remains excellent but the accommodation is suffering from abuse by certain guests. During my last visit for business, my neighbour had tv on loud until 2am. At 1am I decided to knock on their door and ask them to turn it down. No"

"Very small room but was clean. For the price it was ok. You have to pay to park which I don’t like, but there was a few on road parking spaces for free. "

"You get what you pay for but what there is was decent. Loses a mark for mould marks on shower ceiling but cannot fault rest of hotel. Breakfast very basic but what food there was hot and edible and the bar/restaurant area is lovely."
