"Very clean room. Location is incredible for access to central London - literally 5 mins walk to the tube station. The room was spacious but I was in the top floor which had very small windows so the room was quite dark. No issues if you’re not planning to spend a lot of time in your room. The bed was quite soft - just be aware if you like a firmer bed. Nice amenities in the room."

"Great location. Everything is pretty much electronic (check-in/check-out) so you really never speak to staff. The tea/coffee in the room leaves much to be desired. Otherwise is was a clean and nice hotel in a good location."

"Charming hotel in a historic building. The late Victorian building was once the headquarters of the British secret service and so has echoes of Sidney Reilly, Bruce Lockhart and Ian Fleming . It was also housed the U.S. Embassy and the Soviet Embassy (on different floors) during WWIi. Winston Churchill had an office in the Liberal Club, which shares the building with the hotel. Aside from atmosphere, the hotel has a friendly staff who are eager to do things for the guests. Whitehall Gardens lies in back of the hotel, giving it a pretty setting. Good views of the Embankment and the Thames from that side of the hotel. It is an older building and has some quirks. For example, the floor takes awhile to get used to. However, it is evident that considerable money has been spent to modernize both the rooms and the public areas. The location is great. It lies in the heart of Central London. The Houses of Parliament are a few steps in one direction and Trafalgar Square is a few steps in the other direction. Great for tourists and for those with business in political London. The hotel has several dining venues including an outdoor terrace overlooking Whitehall Gardens. Very nice buffet breakfast."

"Z-Hotels are for the minimalist traveler. The rooms are small but comfy, and the amenities seem to be minimal. The Leicester Square hotel is VERY conveniently located to Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Buckingham Palace, Westminster, and the National Gallery. All walking distance. It's also just a short walk to LOTS of restaurants and theaters. There's a whole selection of Italian restaurants within 5 minutes, the Chinese section is only 10 minutes, and then there's steak houses, pubs, Indian restaurants, etc. within 15 minutes walk. I was very surprised at how active this area was. Conveniently located to the water taxi's (Uber boats) and with a bit more a walk, to the London Eye (if that's your thing). On site is a small restaurant and bar. They do have a tapas offering with some nice cheeses each night. The hotel itself is a bit oddly shaped with some of the rooms below street level (the restaurant is also below street level). Most rooms do not come with windows. Frankly, a room with windows in this hotel is not worth the extra cost. The beds are comfy although you'll likely feel cramped until you're actually in bed. Bathroom in my room was small but functional."

"The staff were super nice and helpfull and the location was perfect. That being said I think the rooms could use a deep cleaning, also they are very loud. But not a bad place for a quick stay."
