"Love the location and staff at this hotel. I stay here every time I am in London. However, the last time I was here, I was not told that there is no desk or table in the room (premium Queen, which is what I always book - I always had a table and chair before), so it was difficult for me to get any work done on my computer. Other than that, I would recommend it."

"Such a mixed bag of a review. The positives- great location/ doorman very good/breakfast good/Equus Bar excellent and the staff too/ rooms are pretty good. HOWEVER!! Check in was a disgrace! We had 2 rooms for 4 nights and got the first room ok. Had to come back at 3pm onwards for 2nd room but that was ok with us. What happened next was like Fawlty Towers. Given the keys to 2nd room and walked in on a couple in bed!! Not sleeping!! Obviosly embarrassing and receptions respose was-'Mistakes Happen!' After being told I was not who I said I was and being asked for photo ID God knows why as it was me who was raising the complaint, we were given another room much lesser standard but then this room had a damaged window and wind was literally whistling into the room. Back down to reception to be told maintenance would fix it- not good enough!! Demanded a room change and eventually back into first room which the other couple had obviously been moved from! two and a half hours later we were sorted with a 2nd room. No proper apology but instead a £10 bottle of prosecco- that's alright then??? Stayed here several times before and loved it- never had a problem but this was really really bad!"

"Absolutely amazing experience. Clean and everything you need. Staff makes you feel safe. Was out late and there was a sketchy guy following me and yelling things at me. I made it to the hotel and let the staff know, they all stepped in without hesitation. Would highly recommend. Will be staying here if I ever come back to London."
