"Overall an excellent hotel experience. Very helpful and polite front desk. My only "complaints" are more FYIs than anything that ruined the experience. To me the main problem was the pillows. WAY too much loft. I woke up with a terrible neck ache and just had to sleep without pillows after that. I asked for an alternative but they had nothing to offer. Clearly a lot of people like their pillows like that, so it may not be an issue for you. A folding luggage rack would have been useful. There were only two drawers for storage in a room with two beds, and only a single nightstand, between the two beds. Only three electrical outlets. My wife and daughter didn’t like how the sink sloped so that hair curlers etc would slide into the sink. Windows didn’t do much to block out street noise so it was really loud by day, but there was surprisingly little traffic by night so we slept well. We never heard any neighbors through the walls or ceilings. And... be careful of the alarm clock! There's a device on the nightstand with with outlets and a USB jack, but it's also an alarm clock. I seem to have accidentally pushed a button and it woke us up at some ungodly hour. ;) The room was very clean, comfortable, and convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall we had a pleasant stay, and we’d gladly stay there again."

"I’ve had read tons of bad reviews (works on progress, hours waiting for an elevator, rude staff, dirty rooms, terrible breakfast…). This is not the Ritz Carlton! But for a short NY stay it was worth every $ spent. The breakfast was ok, some bread, bananas and oranges and a selection of sugared cereals. I always went early to the restaurant so I didn’t experience any trouble with it being crowded; I also never had any problem with the elevators. And as for the staff being rude, not at all!! All the contrary, from Ms. Christina (I hope I remember well her name) at the reception at 6am to the Dominican young man at the luggage store place to the cleaning lady, everyone was kind and very helpful "
