"HUGE apartment in front of the beach! Property in excellent conditions. The pictures don't do it justice. It's a huge apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, walk in closet, in site laundry, a large terrace with the dining table for six people and a patio set for four. Sparkly clean, service everyday, elevator from the pool/beach straight to the terrace of the apartment. I cannot say enough good things. It was an outstanding stay! Can't wait to go back. A couple of constructive comments: transfer from the airport arranged through them was extremely expensive and it was less expensive to rent a car for the full stay. Also, the wifi never worked and no one was sent to fix it. Still, the beach and the place was so amazing, that I would still go back."

"My friends and I loved the views from the pool. It would have been a bonus if a hot tub was available. The house was spacious and more than enough room for my guest. The location was hard to find initially but once we found it, it was easy to get back to. I enjoyed my trip. We spent a lot of time just vibing at the house. "

We didn’t know before that all the places we wanted to visit were on the other side of the island and transportation was pretty costly but overall we enjoyed the stay and Speightowns was nice. "

"This is the 4th time staying at this apartment. I love this neighbourhood and the apartment itself has a lot of positives. It has had a bit of facelift since the last time we were here. however, there were 2 big negatives for me:1. No room fans. Ceiling fans in all the rooms but when the bed is directly underneath, you don't get any breeze.2. The bedding - a PLASTIC sheet on the mattress (and I understand you want to keep it as clean as possible, but it just added to the fact that the bedding was all polyester and it all made for uncomfortable nights and less sleep than I would have liked, but don't let it put you off. If you want a cheap place to stay in this area with everything you need, then this is it....."

The only minor downsides were the slow WiFi with limited coverage and the lack of detailed local information, such as bus routes or car hire options for anyone new to barbados. They allowed us to spend three weeks in their first floor apartment and made us feel like we were part of the family. Ed was very attentive with any need that arose in the apartment making sure we always had whatever we needed. We will miss them and Barbados and look forward to returning another time."
