"As a frequent business traveler and an avid vacationer, my experiences across all types of accommodation vary widely. In this case, for ocean front, affordable suites I would give all the stars for maintaining such a clean, comfortable and useful environment . Loved the bedroom/living area/balcony set up and the efficiencies were perfect. Heating/cooling operated easily, bed was comfortable, bathroom and entire space was spotless. Only reason for four stars is noise level, each room is side by side so surrounding noises are very easy to hear, snoring, talking, tv. Gratefully though reasonably full, with neighbors on all sides; everyone was mindful of this and it was a very pleasant stay. It is a nice retreat at the end of the day after exploring all the surrounding towns. Thank you for such an enjoyable location, during high season I can imagine what fun is had at old orchard beach!"

"We were four old college friends ( guys) on an annual gathering, this year in Maine. This place had a very well equiped kitchen and was conveniely located a short walk from a magnificent beach. It was very quiet and clean. Our only comment is that all the bedrooms are upstairs, but the upstairs bathroom has only a tub. (There is a shower in the downstairs bathroom.). For convenience sake, especially as we are aging, it would be easier to have an upstairs shower. Really nice place to stay for a long weekend. Plenty of places to eat and things to do, even in the off season. Thanks!"

"The location is phenomenal with views from the upstairs main living area nothing short of exceptional. Basically a wrap around view in 2 directions and a wraparound balcony with a lovely table and chairs outside to enjoy it. Modern kitchen is fully equipped and the open plan makes the entire living room, kitchen, dining room wonderful. The negatives are that the downstairs living area and 2 bedrooms have not been updated and are a little musty. That said, my family of 5 adults and 2 children had a fabulous stay. Also there is only 1 AC unit (in the upstairs bedroom). However because of the great location on a slight promontory, it is probably very rare that you need much AC as the breezes are perfect and the screen doors let that circulation through."

"We bought last minute. We were pleasantly surprised and so thrilled with the location of this property. We were right on a beautiful beach. It was fenced off from the abutting properties. It was private which we loved. The cottage was adequate, very clean, but I have to admit it is dated. The bed could use updating, but otherwise we had no complaints. We had a wonderful time. It was equipped with everything we needed, especially if you’re planning to cook meals. If you don’t mind, older places, I highly recommend this cottage."
