"Great location, fantastic staff pity you can’t pick who’s across the hall from you - they were constantly going in and out their room in the morning and appeared to be unable to close the door quietly!!"

"we arrived well into the evening Mary who checked us in said she would let the chef know we had arrived to allow us to get dinner,the room was enough for 2 people with a large bed desk and easy chair with hanging space for our clothes,bathroom a wee bit small door lock not good ,noisy floor but clean with lovely hot shower, Dinner was lovely, steak pie and the garlic creamy chicken beer was good staff in lounge bar very friendly and polite,off to bed for a,great nights sleep Breakfast was good and everything you needed,again staff polite and friendly,out for a wander along the high street Dinner on second night slightly disapointing (special beef curry ) not spicy and passion fruit cheesecake no passion, breakfast on day 2 was amazing (smokies). Overall this is a great hotel,Mary couldnt do enough for us as did the other staff taking time to chat,will return here again"

"Fantastic room, very clean. We had dinner and the menu had good choice, the food quality was excellent and also good value. We had several drinks in the bar which had a nice warm vibe to it. Breakfast was also very good. All the staff were very helpful, polite and smiley so we could not have asked for better overall."

"Comfortable room, good breakfast. The only downside was the attached car park, had a few rough sleepers in it and some stuff was stolen from the car."

"Lovely stay here, room was lovely & clean and very comfortable. Spa facilities were excellent as was the breakfast options the next morning. One of us is gluten free and they catered well for intolerances"

"We stayed there for one night and it was lovely. Staff was pleasant, getting to the property was easy (lots of parking!), there’s a Costa café next door for breakfast, and if you have a car getting places in Dundee is super easy from there."

"Another fantastic stay. Excellent location, staff, and always clean. I would like to see 1 extra piece of cooking equipment in the studio rooms, which is an air fryer. 2 hot plates, and a grill microwave are okay, but restrict food choices. Simple answer, I bought my own for £25. Sad as that sounds,solved all my problems. Will be staying again soon!"

"This was the first time that me and my brother have been to this hotel since 2010 and despite it having an makeover, it felt the same way which brought back great memories when we were younger. even the Leisure facilities were the same as we remembered. Kalah and the team were very friendly and welcoming to us and other guest and were very happy to answer any enquires that we had. I would like to give a mention to Craig from the Leisure for his generosity when asking about an issue we had. The waiters for Breakfast and Dinner were very pleasant and made sure that the guest were satisfied with there meals. The room 113 that we had was very spacious and just what we were looking for as a weekend stay. if there was one picky detail that I would bring up was the hot tap in the bath needs fixed as it was loose when turning so when had to push down quite firmly then turn to release the hot water. But the overall experience of the hotel was just as amazing as we remembered all those years ago and we will definitely be back. I can't recommend this hotel enough to anyone that wants a relaxing break in Dundee."

"The staff were exceptional!! The food was exceptionally good, with a mix including Indian as well as UK, but all - dinner and breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in the centre of the city of Brechin, quite close to the cathedral - well worth visit! Th oldest part dates from around 1000AD"
