"Nice downtown location. Convenient access to the Van Andel Arena. Great parking structure for an additional fee. All staff extremely friendly. We had a very spacious room but it felt outdated with items showing a lot of wear and outlets not having USB or C charging stations. A lot of odd and different smells throughout the hotel. The bathroom was dark and not very clean. There was trash in the bathroom when we checked in. Water pressure was low. Overall it was decent place for what we needed. "

"We picked the hotel for the location and the character. It was good for that, but the rest of the experience was not great. The television didn't work so we had to get the front desk. Even after getting help, it only partially worked and it was difficult to change the channels. The parking was weird. Though parking was attached to the parking garage, you could not use your hotel key to open the door after hours so you still had to go outside to get back in. We asked for towels and for the bed to be changed. Since we didn't give them 24 hours notice, they did not change the bed, and no one got our towels until we followed up with them. I have no idea what the city was working on outside, but they were working way past midnight and super early in the morning. It was hard to sleep. If you need a big room and two sinks, it was great for that. "

"Everything was great, except a little misunderstanding. The night before our check out, I personally ask to the nice lady at the front desk if we could have a late check out because our flight to Florida was late afternoon. She told me that we could check out at 1:00 PM, which was great and helpful, sure enough next day we received a phone call from the front desk saying that was after 11:00 AM so I told them we requested a late check out and was granted to us until 1:00 PM, they replied saying they didn’t have any notification, pretty much saying I was lying, which I didn’t appreciate. "
