"We had an overall good stay. There were a few things that we didn’t care for. The pros: we liked the location, the room was very nice and clean. The coffee pouches were very good. The pool area was nice (other than the view) the parking area was ok. The cons: If your handicap in anyway you need to be aware that you will have to walk up and down many flights of stairs to get back and forth to the beach. We didn’t like the large sand dunes right in front of the pool which caused us to have no view of the ocean from the pool area. The balcony is very tiny, there’s only room for 2 people and no leg room while sitting. We were not informed we would be charged $10 for each day to park. We already paid for the room, why do they think it’s ok to not provide free parking to their guests who have already paid a decent nightly rate. The front door and balcony door were extremely hard to open and close. The room service was decent but it seemed to be a struggle for us to get clean towels and coffee. We would wait for several hours then get frustrated and have to track down housekeeping. Who spoke little to no English and struggled to communicate with us. We ended up walking away with less than what we needed. Overall if was an ok stay. We will not be coming back here. Because we have stayed in other hotels or condos and had a much better expertise for the same or similar cost."

"When I checked in I mentioned I would not need housekeeping. There was no Do not disturb sign in the room. Staff went into the room only took bathroom trash. When I called the front desk and explained what occurred, they asked about Do not disturb sign and I stated there wasn’t one in the room. This didn’t make me comfortable."

"The compete week was very enjoyable! Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff from the time we arrived till we checked out was kind and knowledgeable. Our breakfast was excellent. The location was close to several of the dining places we wanted to try. The best part was the view of the ocean!"

"From the time we walked into the reception area, our experience was disappointing. The customer service agent was rude and unhelpful, which set a negative tone for our stay. When we reached our room, we encountered several safety and cleanliness concerns: there was water pooling on the floor, and there appeared to be mold on the door. The overall condition of the hotel felt very old and rundown, and the level of upkeep did not justify the price we paid. I expect better from a hotel stay, particularly regarding basic cleanliness, maintenance, and courteous service. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes immediate improvements to ensure future guests don’t encounter the same ."

"The absolute worst experience I’ve had at any SPARK Hilton in the country. They stole my deposit and I paid for 3 nights with cash and they made me load everything up in my room and stole the cash for the 3rd night. Absolutely would not recommend to any traveler going through Destin, Florida. There are plenty of better options…"
